The Westborough Public Schools Wellness Advisory Board, a group of dedicated parents and staff along with the Superintendents office partnered in 2006 to create the district's Wellness Policy. The Wellness Policy was developed in accordance with the National School Lunch Program's Reauthorization Act. The act requires all public school districts produce a detailed policy that addresses the health and well-being of all students. To view the Wellness Policy, please go to:

10-Minutes Lesson Plans
Developed by Chartwells Registered Dietitians, the 10-Minute Nutrition Lesson Plans target lower elementary, upper elementary, middle and high school students on different topics of interest that include breakfast, food and cultures and sustainability. Lesson topics coincide with the Chartbusters promotional calendar and are scripted to be quick and easy to teach, fun, and age appropriate. Each lesson includes a teacher-guide for each three key areas: the EAT cafeteria connection, a LEARN 10-minute classroom lesson, and a LIVE home activity. The plans are practical way to help teachers incorporate more nutrition education into the classroom and promote the Chartwells philosophy of EAT.LEARN.LIVE http://eatlearnlive.com/teacherResources
