Please read this important "Welcome Back" letter which summarizes our food service program.  In this district, Chartwells serves meals to over 3500 students in six schools, including the high school, middle school, and four  elementary schools. Our goal is to provide appealing foods and a nutritionally sound program that is safe and affordable to parents, students, faculty and staff.

Our menus have been designed to exceed the new mandated federal child nutrition program guidelines for breakfast and lunch meals.  Our Chartwells team of registered dietitians  established standards for the field, including: adding more fresh fruits and vegetables, foods containing whole grains, and vegetarian options while our executive chefs have created delicious recipes to make it all happen.  Foods sold "in competition" with the meal program incorporate most approved foods from the "A-list", which are considered "better-for-you" alternatives.  

Nationwide, Chartwells currently manages over 550 public school districts.  These districts range from one to hundreds of individual school locations.  We serve approximately 2.5 million students in over 4000 elementary, middle and high schools across the country.  Our Most of the food service operations are governed by the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program and require strict regulatory compliance.
