Welcome to Chartwells School Dining Services website for Royal Oak Schools.  Locally in Royal Oak, we serve meals to over 5000 students in eight schools; six elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Our goal is to provide the best quality food for each student one child at a time.   

Nationwide, Chartwells currently manages over 550 public school districts.  These districts range from one to hundreds of individual school locations.  We serve approximately 2.5 million students in over 4000 elementary, middle and high schools across the country.   Most of the food service operations are governed by the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program and require strict regulatory compliance.

Chartwells School Dining Services continues to provide Royal Oak Schools with an appealing and nutritionally sound child nutrition program that is safe and affordable to parents, students, faculty and staff.

Royal Oak Schools make use of an electronic point of sale system called ISD.  This cash register system helps to speed service and increases confidentiality of student information.
It also functions as a data collection system so parents can view their childs meal choices via Parent Link.  Parent link can be accessed throught the food service tab at www.royaloakschools.com

Over the past five years some of our accomplishments include:  adding more Balanced Choice meals and snacks;  adding more fresh fruits and vegetables options to our menus at all grade levels;  offering many exciting and educational food and menu promotions.
