$3.75 (includes tax) | As the price of goods and services continues to impact our wallets, the school breakfast and lunch programs at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School remains one of the best values. One need only visit any food establishment in town and compare "like for like" to be convinced. We strongly encourage students to fully participate by purchasing a complete "reimbursable" breakfast and lunch meal, which leads to more state and federal dollars returned to the district. (Chartwells School Dining Services does not receive these monies, nor the revenue for meals and snacks, which are deposited directly into the school's account.)
WHICH IS THE BEST NUTRITIONAL BARGAIN FOR THE CURRENT SCHOOL LUNCH PRICE?
OR
The price of a balanced school lunch is often less expensive or equal to the price of a "popular brand" cup of coffee!
FREE AND REDUCED MEAL INFORMATION AND APPLICATIONS Children from households that meet Federal income guidelines are eligible for free or reduced price meals. Families may apply to participate in the program at any time during the school year using a "Family Application" (which means only one application per family is required.)
What should you know? 1. To apply for free or reduced meals, complete and sign Free & Reduced application and return it to the school principal. (Chartwells does not see, approve or deny the application for free or reduced meals. We execute the process once completed by appropriately designating your child in the computerized point of sales system.) 2. If you are receiving "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program" (SNAP) benefits, your child automatically qualifies. 3. If you are eligible for unemployment compensation, you might also be eligible for free or reduced price school meals.
Please contact your school for additional information and assistance.
