As we begin the 2012-2013 school year, Chartwells School Dining Services is pleased to introduce the new Chartbusters program.  Chartbusters is a year-long program containing promotion ideas and special event activities developed to maximize cafeteria participation in the National School Breakfast and Lunch program.

For elementary grades Theodore Eat, Sydney C. Learn and Ava Live, representatives of nutrition and healthy living, will be guiding students to learn about ‘better for you food choices’ with the help of animated videos, coloring sheets, activity sheets, and a large colorful poster that, with your consent, will hang in a predominate place for all students to see as they enter the cafeteria.

For our middle and high school customers, we will offer additional activities, posters and videos to promote healthy eating habits and participation in the school breakfast and lunch program as well as our approach to nutrition, Balanced Choices®.
