FREE BREAKFAST TO ALL STUDENTS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE CRESTLINE, BURTON, AND SILVER STAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Beginning with the first day of school, August 31st, Crestline, Burton, and Silver Star elementary schools will offer breakfast to every child at no cost. Breakfast will be delivered to the classroom each day.

The District is very excited to be able to offer this program to our students at these schools.  Numerous studies have highlighted the importance of a nutritious breakfast for students.

This program is subsidized by the United States Department of Agriculture through the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. The lunch program will not change and students who are not approved for free meals; or students who are approved for reduced meals and are in grades 4-12 will be required to pay for lunch.  Families should continue to complete and submit the application for free or reduced price meals to the school as soon as possible.
