Evergreen School District

Evergreen School District is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, approximately 16 miles from downtown Portland, Oregon.  Evergreen is among the ten largest school districts in the State of Washington.  Our average enrollment is 25,000 in 21 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 4 high schools and 1 alternative high school.   Daily, we serve approximately 16,000 student meals.  

For more than 15 years, Chartwells has partnered with Evergreen to provide nutritious, well balanced and affordable meals at breakfast and lunch.  Our program is governed by the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program, meeting federal requirements for a traditional meal pattern.  We feature customized solutions that meet the needs of our students and clients.   We understand that managing the District's school dining program is about more than just the food.  It is about fueling the bodies and minds of children with wholesome meals in an engaging setting to support academic achievement.                                                  
Chartwells is proud to introduce    at Pacific, Shahala and Wy'East middle schools and Mt View and Heritage high schools.  These are the first official franchised Subway restaurants to open in a K-12 setting in the country.  
Our Subway franchises offer the exact same high quality meats and cheeses, fresh cut vegetables and of course, fresh baked bread made daily in each location, as the downtown stores.  
By having a Subway in your school, our customers can choose healthier options than other fast food places, snack bars and student stores offer, and enjoy the added convenience of having a Subway Restaurant located in the school so our customers do not have to leave campus to enjoy their favorite Subway sandwich made fresh right in front of them.
