Nutrition E-Bites Family Newsletter 2009-2010 School Year
Just the facts - Healthy things we do here at EPS.
1. All hamburger buns and dinner rolls are whole grain .
2. All vegetables are steamed to hold valuable vitamins and minerals.
3. Home made pizzas are prepared with whole wheat crust.
4. All breakfast cereal are low in sugar varieties less then 2 grams of sugar!
5. Chef salads are offered daily for grade levels 4-12.
6. Food bars offer a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables daily.
7. Balanced Choice snacks and beverages are served.
8. Whole grain breaded chicken nuggets and patties are served.
9. Eps bakes all items - NOTHING IS FRIED !
10. A Staff member in each kitchen is Serve Safe Certified.
